Mario is a coach and mentor for travel advisors who want to elevate their destination wedding game—with confidence, clarity, and a few spreadsheets along the way. Known for his infectious energy and borderline obsessive love for systems (his words!), Mario helps advisors turn chaos into clarity through smarter workflows and elevated client experiences.
He proudly carries on the legacy of his late husband, Will Medina, the original DWU founder and industry legend. Today, Mario combines his personal passion for love stories with his professional knack for operational magic, continuing Will’s mission to help travel pros level up in life and business.
When he’s not teaching at DWU or producing epic beach weddings in Mexico and the Caribbean, Mario’s likely hanging with his dog Max, soaking up the Florida sun, or jetting off for his next passport stamp.

Ashley Morris
Systems queen. Storyteller. Champagne-by-the-campfire kinda girl.
Ashley is the founder of Alpaca Your Bags Travel, co-lead instructor at Destination Wedding University, and a total powerhouse when it comes to turning wedding planning overwhelm into streamlined success. After a frustrating experience planning her own destination wedding (and realizing the industry was stuck in 1997), Ashley traded her career in corporate advertising for a new adventure in travel. Spoiler alert: it worked.
She built her multi-million-dollar agency while juggling a demanding NYC commute and a full-time job—and now she’s on a mission to help other travel advisors build the systems, boundaries, and business they deserve.
Ashley was one of the very first DWU students and now co-leads the program that helped her level up. Whether she’s strategizing with her team, exploring new destinations, or recording a new episode of Flights with Mario, Ashley brings a no-BS approach to success—with plenty of laughs and spreadsheets along the way.
